Cerritos Performing Arts Center

The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) is the Southland's premier performing arts and conference facility, offering great performances in music, dance and theater and unique facilities for meetings, banquets and special events.

Owned and operated by the City of Cerritos, the CCPA presents an annual season from August through May. The schedule, which includes more than 150 performances, consists of an eclectic mix of artists. The CCPA has hosted performances by Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Clint Black, The Chieftains, Kathleen Battle, Dance Theater of Harlem, Royal Shakespeare Company, and many others.

The CCPA features a flexible theater capable of six different seating and stage configurations, ranging from a 1,800-seat arena theater to a 900-seat recital hall setting. The Sierra Conference Center is the perfect setting for banquets, parties or special events. The CCPA Associates Room offers space for club meetings and small receptions. The CCPA and all of its facilities are available for rental.

The stunning and colorful Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) illuminates the evening sky with beacons of light emanating from pyramid-shaped rooftops. The Grand Lobby features a sweeping spiral staircase leading to elevated galleries. The auditorium seats move on floating air casters that can be moved into five different seating arrangements . For each auditorium arrangement, acoustic ceiling panels move to ensure optimal sound quality. Every performance setting provides a unique entertainment experience.

The City of Cerritos is located in the heart of the Los Angeles and Orange County metropolitan areas. The CCPA is situated in the Cerritos Towne Center, a remarkable development of office, hotel, retail and entertainment facilities. The CCPA is located directly off the 91 Freeway, 30 minutes southeast of downtown Los Angeles, 20 minutes east of downtown Long Beach, and 15 minutes west of Anaheim. Parking is always free.

The Community Gymnasiums at Cerritos and Whitney High Schools provide youth activities and indoor sports for residents of all ages.

The Cerritos Senior Center at Pat Nixon Park offers a variety of special events, recreation, special interest classes, and human services to seniors, age 50 and older.

The Cerritos Sheriff's Station/Community Safety Center offers a full range of public safety services to residents 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

Premier music, dance, and Broadway performances are featured in the world-class Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, a state-of-the-art facility that features an innovative flexible auditorium.
